10 years of RPP certification

RPP is publishing a series of interviews with people who have played an important role in the history of RPP. In this interview, RPP spoke with Ron Bleijswijk and Johannes Langemeyer about the development of the certification framework and the first RPP certificates. Bleijswijk: “We have built something with real value.” Langemeyer: “Learning by doing was essential.”

In the interview Bleijswijk (Committee of Experts) and Langemeyer  (former RPP Inspector) look back at the early years of RPP, the cooperation between NGOs and industry, and the growth of the certification system. They explain how RPP developed step by step into a professional and internationally recognised system. Bleijswijk: “The work is never finished. We keep improving the system.” Langemeyer: “RPP is a system that keeps evolving.”
