RPP activities integrated under RHP
Independence of RPP remains fully guaranteed
As of 1 January 2026, the activities of Responsibly Produced Peat (RPP) will be integrated into RHP.
The position of RPP and certification is significant and continues to grow. This integration strengthens capacity, continuity,and credibility ensuring the continuity of our RPP efforts while supporting the sector’s transition towards more sustainable and renewable substrate materials.
What does this mean?
RPP certification standards will remain fully independent, with continued involvement of environmental NGOs. For participating companies, nothing will change in daily operations, and all existing agreements will be adopted by RHP. RPP certification will remain separate from the RHP quality mark.
